Schneider Electric gives customers the power of insight with PowerTag NSX

20 July 2018

Schneider Electric has launched the PowerTag NSX, its latest connectable accessory for the company’s range of Compact NSX circuit breakers.

PowerTag is the only wireless energy sensor for moulded case circuit-breakers available on the market today. It delivers enhanced monitoring of a facility’s electrical assets, giving facility mangers complete insight into device health and helping them better plan maintenance to avoid unnecessary downtime.

With the PowerTag NSX, Schneider Electric completes its range of PowerTag sensors and extends the products’ capabilities beyond miniature circuit-breakers to the company’s moulded case circuit breakers family. PowerTag NSX will be fully compatible with PowerTag for Acti 9, connecting easily and adding enhanced connectivity to the Compact NSX product range. The Compact NSX offering is designed to protect electrical assets in demanding industrial environments. The range’s compact size is ideal for environments where space is at a premium.

The sensor will provide building owners and facility managers with precise, powerful, real-time data to augment the health of strategic assets where the Compact NSX is installed.

Alessandro De Danieli, offer marketing manager at Schneider Electric, said: ‘It is fitting that we have combined our successful PowerTag wireless sensor with the Power Breakers family of products. We’re delighted that our Compact NSX customers will now be able to reap the benefits of PowerTag in their facilities. Connectivity is transforming industry for the better, providing the accurate, real-time insight businesses need to cut costs and boost efficiency.’
