Hazardex & PPTex 2020 Conference – Call for papers submission deadline 30/09/19

Connectivity's sister title, HazardEx, is now seeking abstracts for the Hazardex 2020 Conference to be held on February 26-27 at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK.
Next year’s conference will focus on specific topics relating to hazardous area and safety issues in the process and manufacturing industries. Deadline approaching 30/09/19.
For nearly 20 years, Hazardex has been providing key industry information and topical discussion on process safety-related topics. The annual Conference and Exhibition brings together those with hazardous area and wider safety responsibilities to review best practice and the latest research in those areas key to managing process safety effectively.
Next year’s conference will focus on specific topics relating to hazardous area and safety issues in the process and manufacturing industries including:
• Autonomous technologies & evolving use of AI use
• Personal Protection Technologies and smart PPE (Separate conference stream)
• Asset Management and Maintenance
• Decommissioning
• Engineering & Design Safety
• Fire & Explosion Hazards
• Functional Safety
• Human Factors
• Knowledge & Competence
• Regulation
• Risk Assessment and Management
This list is not exclusive. Anyone with an original take on any aspect of hazardous area operations or process safety is encouraged to get in touch. There is no charge to submit or present, and all speakers will get an inclusive pass for all conference sessions plus a seat at the evening awards dinner on 26/2/20.
Please submit abstracts (300 to 400 words) for consideration by September 30, 2019. Successful candidates will be notified by October 10 and full papers should be sent through by November 22.
Abstracts (in Word or PDF format) should be accompanied with the following information:
• Presenting author (and co-authors)
• Company/Organisation
• Full contact details
• Paper title
• Main topic
