Implications of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)

Involving more standards, such as OPC UA, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) will both impact upon and help automation/robotics machine manufacturers, suppliers and their customers. Further, there is a potential impact on companies' reputations: machines that are not CRA-approved will result in loss of business and perhaps marketshare, and also result in possible future financial penalties.
How should companies adapt to the new requirements? Against this backdrop, to give companies confidence, specialists such as Lenze have designed layers of compliant hardware/software, secure VPN, encryption, firewall, and other tools to optimise cyber protection capabilities.
