Automating PCBA testing with collaborative robots

Hanover designs and manufactures passenger information systems for the public transport industry. Whilst bringing the high-speed production of PCBs in-house, it faced the challenge of testing and inspecting the boards. Hanover decided to automate the repetitive process of testing 240,000 boards per year. With the support of Absolute Robotics, it deployed cobots that could interact with the manual test equipment and relieve operators, also running unmanned.
